I noticed that you didn’t mention opening a joint checking account with your fiancée. That’s what you’re going to need first and foremost, as you’ll want a way to quickly pay for shared baby expenses—and go ahead and get one of those checking accounts that earns interest, if you want to imagine that your money will remain in the account long enough to earn interest.
